Drive off the beaten track in jeep convoy to discover ancient cultures, village life and beautiful countryside. Explore the ruins of the ancient city of Tlos, then see the art of carpet and kilim making at a traditional factory before exploring the icy waterfalls and streams of hidden Saklikent Canyon. After lunch in the open air, and en route to the beautiful classical ruins at Xanthos, the mud baths and icy rushing waters of the Xanthos River will give you a chance to cool off before relaxing on the white sands of 18km long Patara Beach. Join as a driver or non-driver, and be prepared to return a little tired and dusty, but thoroughly exhilarated, after the 180km round trip.

Be prepared to get very dusty.First Stop: the ruined city of tlos, fabled home of Pegasus is a remarkable example of Lycian, Byzantine and otoman cultural history. Next stop is YAkapark with it's many Trout Farms, cold water springs and water mill. . After a short stop here we cross the mountain to Saklikent The Hidden City. At 300 metres deep and 18 km long this is the second largest gorge in Europe. You can wade through the ice cold water into the Gorge itself where the sun does not penetrate or just sit and marvel at the fantastic limestone scenery. A delicious lunch will be served alondside the river before we move on the Xanthos where you will see Lycian, Byzantine and Roman ruins presenting many photo opportunities. Last Stop; Patara the ideal ‘chill-out' place to top up your suntan. With a 22 kilometer stretch of powder white sand, this by far the longest beach in Turkey and is allso a breeding ground of the Caretta- Caretta Turtle.
